Who handles your information

This site is operated by Ethan Music Lab, based in Japan. Please send privacy-related requests to hello@ethanmusiclab.com.

Information this site handles

Reading and using the labs do not require registration. When you sign in, this site stores your email address to send you sign-in links and to identify your account; the emails are sent on our behalf by the email service Resend. The display name you set in “My account” and the comments you post are shown publicly on the relevant pages; your email address is never shown.

This site counts how many times each page is opened. It records only the page address and the running total, not who you are or where you came from.

Data stored in your browser

Your theme preference and whether this page was recently counted as a view are stored locally in your browser. After you sign in, this site sets a sign-in cookie that only the server can read, valid for 30 days.

What we do not collect

This site charges nothing and handles no payment information. Signing in needs no password, and this site stores no passwords.

Retention and deletion

Account data and comments are kept for as long as the account exists; deleted comments are no longer shown publicly. When an account is deleted, its data is deleted or anonymised, except where the law requires it to be kept.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to access, correct or delete information about your account by writing to the email address above. After verifying the requester’s identity, this site will handle the request within a reasonable period.
